10 Perfect Rugs for Autumn

Hellooo! I hope you’ve been well. It’s that time of year again: with the ‘ber months just around the corner, I’m trying to get away with wearing sweaters while it’s still 90 degrees out and my cells are beckoning for pumpkin everything. Summer really just can’t take a hint.

In anticipation of the glorious months ahead, I did a round up of 10 perfect rugs for the autumn season at all different price points. There are some pretty standard things I look for in fall decor, like muted, earthy tones and cozy textures. Rust, burgundy, and brown dance with creamy neutrals, vintage florals, and chunky handwoven textiles. It’s the best season for a reason fam.

1. Chunky Sweater Rug

If I could live in a house made of only sweaters, I probably would.

2. Jute Diamond Rug

This rug is on my all time favorites list. It’s literally perfect.

3. Neutral Nudes Rug

Artful nudes are always in season.

4. Vintage Floral Rug

This cutie would look realll good with my white floors…

5. Icelandic Wool Rug

This company is completely epic - hand loomed Icelandic textiles for the win.

6. Washable Deep Reds Rug

Ruggable has something for everyone, including fans of little animals and rich reds.

7. Faded Vintage Rug

Addendum: anything by Loloi x Amber Lewis makes the list.

8. Simple Lines Rug

This rug is classic rustic goals. I nearly bought it for myself but knew red wine would get spilled on it immediately.

9. Textured Jute Rug

Second best to wrapping yourself in a burlap sack.

10. Checkered Shag Rug

This is probably the trendiest item on the list, but I think it has some staying power. Checkerboard is decidedly timeless.

If you’re lucky enough to be in the market for a new rug this season, keep the bigger picture in mind. Of course it’s nice to buy something that feels awesome during your favorite season, but really think about whether or not it will fit with your decor long term. Even at the low price points, rugs are a bit of an investment! You can make a statement with one, but make sure you know the statement you’re making. You feel?

Until next time,

Nicki
